And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. — 1 John 4:16

God loves us, we can be sure of that. He wants us to live in his love and be happy because of it. That love goes beyond the grace we receive when we are saved. God’s love goes out from us. His love saves us when we show love to other people. His presence can be seen in the way we love and act. God wants us to show other people his love. So, his love blesses us both when we get it and when we give it away.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I depend on your love. I don’t know what I would do without it; I would be lost. But, Father, I know you love me. I’m sure about my future, happy right now, and standing on tiptoes until your love is fully realized in your presence at Jesus’ coming. I’m glad you love me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
