Jesus says at the start of this chapter that he is going back to heaven to make a place for us. Now, though, he wants us to understand that we don’t have to wait until heaven to be with God. As we love God and do what he says, he comes to live with us. God, the Creator of the Universe, the Holy One of Israel, lives in me! Isn’t that a wonderful and kind thought?
