Jesus told us not to be afraid of other people (Luke 12:4-5). When we try to make other people happy or worry about what they might say or do to us, we put ourselves in a very dangerous position. No longer are we in charge of our own lives. We give in to what other people want, think, or threaten. We are only supposed to trust and respect the LORD. Fear is pushed out of our hearts when we put our faith in the LORD. When we put our faith in the LORD on purpose, He becomes our security, both now and forever.
