God’s wisdom is sometimes short, sweet, and to the point for those who want to do his will. I want my kids and grandkids to think of me fondly because their dad and granddad tried to be good and loved the Lord with all their hearts. I don’t want to live in a way that hurts the people around me and leaves a bad legacy for my children and grandchildren.

Prayer

O Holy and Righteous Father, I want my character to be a blessing to my children, their children, and their children’s children. Please give me wisdom, discernment, tact, honor, integrity, and compassionate holiness in everything I do, say, and influence. May I be a godly example and leave a good memory for my physical and spiritual families. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
