We should remember Paul’s example as we try to pass on our faith to our children, our friends, and our younger spiritual “children” in the faith. Paul then asked the people he was mentoring to put this truth into practice in their daily lives. This would let them feel God’s presence in their lives and find the peace that God wants to give them so much.

Prayer

Father, help me be a better teacher in word and deed as I try to influence those around me, those who need my help in their Christian walk, and those in my family who want to grow in your grace. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
