By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. — 1 Corinthians 15:2

How are we saved? What Jesus did for us on behalf of God! Let’s promise that nothing will make us stop trusting and depending on that hope, that Gospel that saved us. We can’t be saved by any other name, any other Gospel, or any other message. (cf. Acts 4:12; Galatians 1:3–9; Colossians 2:16–16) There’s nothing else we need to add. No one should ever be able to take anything from it. Let’s keep this faith, this trust, in God’s grace that Jesus has given us!

Prayer

There is no other God I trust in but you, Father. The story of your love and grace in Jesus is the only Gospel I believe in. As the ancient song so sweetly expresses it, I beg dear Father that I may “never, ever, outlast my love for Thee. ” In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
