One of the finest things we can pray for one other, and for ourselves, is that we would better know God. The Holy Spirit helps us better know God (1 Cor. 2), worship God (John 4), and talk to God (Rom. 8). (Rom. 8). (Rom. 8). Let’s beg God to use his Spirit to help us know him, not simply know about him. God is not merely the Almighty Creator of all things; he is also our Father who cares about us passionately.

Prayer

Holy Father, God of all mystery and glory, please let your Holy Spirit work in my mind and heart to help me know you better. Please give my physical family and my spiritual family understanding and light about you, your love, and your glory. We want to get to know you better and show more of your character and grace. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
