Jesus wants us to look deep into our hearts and give up the things that keep us from following and serving him fully. We are aware of who they are. He shows us the scars on his hands from his nails and tells us that he gave up everything to save us. Now, he wants us to give the things that hold us back over to the Cross. Prayer

Father God, Almighty King, I’m sorry for the parts of my life that I’ve kept hidden from the goodness that your Spirit is trying to grow in me. Now, I’m telling you about these hidden sins and asking you to forgive me and set me free from Satan’s power over them, which keeps me from giving my whole heart to your Son. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
