Jesus. Yeshua. Joshua of the world of the spirit. Jesus, the son of Mary and God, comes to help us break down the strongholds that Satan has built in our lives. He comes to bring peace to our troubled hearts and joy to our nights of despair. He comes to help us and bless us, but he also comes to do something that no one else could do: to save us from our sins, those spiritual flaws, mistakes, transgressions, and sins. Praise God! A rescuer who actually did what we couldn’t do to make us what we aren’t: children of God who are pure, perfect, and holy, as he is. (cf. Col. 1:21-23)
