Costs have been paid. The ransom has been paid. God’s punishment was stopped not because of anything we did to make him happy, but because God himself killed Jesus on the cross to pay for our sins. If God has gone to so much trouble to bring us back to himself and make us part of his family, how can we say no? We shouldn’t! Father God, here’s our hearts to you!

Prayer

God, I know that my sin has hurt your heart and hurt your holy nature. So, I can’t tell you how thankful I am through words. Even though my sin hurt you, you made a sacrifice to save me from it and bring us back together. I thank you for your love and grace, and I promise to show mercy to others. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
