“Stick with it!” Few things are more important than being able to stick with something. Most of the important things you do in life come about because you didn’t give up. I don’t believe in luck because most “luck” comes when we’ve worked hard enough for the “magical moment” to happen. Edison said it best: “1 percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration” describes life’s greatest achievements, the world’s greatest discoveries, and his own most amazing inventions. “Hang in there!” and see the glory of God shine through you, not because of luck but because of God’s grace, love, and Providence!

Prayer

Unchangeable and Unshakeable: God, through the people you’ve put in my life and the power of your gift, the Holy Spirit, help me stand up when I’m tested and show that my character is true by sticking with it. Give my faith courage and patience so that my life can show how strong you are. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord, who stayed true even to the end. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
