How often do you forget that a spiritual war is going on? Our enemy is sneakily smart. If a threat doesn’t feel like it’s happening right now, the danger seems to be gone. But he’s always there. Paul tells us not to try to figure out the evil one’s plans and counter all of his moves. Instead, we should just use the tools God has given us to stand up to him.

Prayer

Lord of Hosts, my Great Deliverer, use your great power to keep me safe from the evil one. Give me a sense of urgency as I face Satan and his plans every day, but also give me faith that Jesus has already won the battle against my enemy. Help me stand up to this enemy and show that I’m true to you. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
