God knows who we are. We can’t act like something we’re not when he’s around. He knows everything about us, inside and out. This should give us the freedom to have a very close relationship with our Father, but most of us try to stay away from that. If, on the other hand, we want to be more like him, the only way to change is to let him see our hearts, what drives us, and what we want.

Prayer

I know that you, God, are the one who “looks into hearts and minds.” Still, I am sure that you love me because of the grace you showed in Jesus. I’m sorry for the sin I’ve done, but I’m really trying to serve you in a way that is honorable and clean. Please give me more of your Spirit so I can be more like Christ. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
