God made us to be kind and good, just like him. We are called to share in the nature of God, and we know that when Jesus comes back, we will be ready. Everything in our world can get old and broken, but not those of us whose lives are joined to Jesus. For us, this promise is a sure thing. Our answer is to follow with all our hearts!

Prayer

Almighty God, my Fortress for all time, thank you for keeping your promises to me. I want to get to know you better and see your face right now, just like I think I will one day. Please keep me and my heart from getting messed up. In the name of Jesus, who gave me to you, I pray with love and gratitude. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
