“He drives where he looks!” When an angry wife said that about her husband, she was telling the truth. He always turned the wheel in the direction in which he was looking. This rule applies to each of us and our lives as well: “He or she lives where he or she looks!” This is why we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. Where we look is where our lives will go. Let’s make sure we’re looking at Jesus.

Prayer

Almighty and holy God, I couldn’t come to you with confidence without your grace and the gift of your salvation. We are grateful that you sent Jesus. Thank you for his life, his death, his resurrection, his being raised up to heaven, and his prayers on our behalf. I promise to keep an eye on him from now on. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
