There are many things that can make people unhappy and disappointed with their lives. But for many of us, these are signs that we are angry with life because we are too focused on ourselves. We have stopped counting our blessings, stopped thanking God, stopped praising our Father, and stopped helping those around us. Christ always thought about other people. When we do what he did, we make a difference in the lives of the people we bless, and we also get a lot of good out of it. Let’s stop thinking about ourselves and look for ways to help those around us.

Help me to recognize the suffering, brokenness, and challenges in the lives around me, Holy and Matchless God. Help me to bless those who sorely need to experience your love and grace through me. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
