If members in our congregations are ever going to get along, church leaders must remind us how vital it is. Jesus’ dying request was for us to be one. Why? So that the entire world would know that he was sent by the Father. Unity is not only significant as a theory or theology, but also as a daily practice among those who acknowledge Jesus as Lord.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I thank you for bringing all of my prayers to our Father. I promise to do everything I can to bring glory to our Father, live in peace, and serve with those who belong to you as one. Please give our church family more of the passion you want for unity. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
