Seek God’s rule over your life and the righteous behavior that he wants you to have every day. All of the other things you do are temporary. God and his Kingdom are all that are left. As you seek God’s kingdom and righteousness, you’ll find that the same God who gives you his kingdom and righteousness will also give you the things you need in this life.

Prayer

Holy Lord, only in you do I discover what satisfies my soul’s needs. The things that have grabbed my sight are dull after only a short while. The artificial things I have chased, all of my compulsive hobbies, have left me empty and shackled. I find hope and help solely in you. Please be near to love, correct, discipline, guide, and mold me to your glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
