Jesus is like Moses in that he is a prophet. He has come and told us the truth about God. His words, which are written down in the Gospels, have taught us. Through the things he has done, he has shown us how to live. He teaches us by being with us all the time and by giving us the Holy Spirit. But we learn the most from what he tells us when we do what he says.

Prayer

I believe that you, El Shaddai, who thundered from Mount Sinai and gave your Law to your servant Moses, are still speaking through Jesus today. Help me not only hear his voice, but also listen to what he had to say and watch how he lived. Correct me gently and show me the way of obedience so that I can worship you better every day and bring more glory to you. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
