If God gave up his Son to save us, what wouldn’t he give up to bless us and keep us? Paul’s point is that. In 1 Corinthians 6:19–20, he tells us that we have been bought with a price so that we will be more holy. Here, he says the same thing, but he does it to reassure us. It’s amazing how the truth of God’s grace can be a blessing in so many ways.

I’m in awe of your selfless love that was demonstrated to me in Jesus, Almighty God. Let this Comforter strengthen my confidence in your salvation and in your desire to shower me with your numerous blessings as you stir me to service in response to your grace. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
