Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: — Matthew 7:7

Ask! So often, we’re afraid to ask for help because it would mean admitting we don’t know what to do. Seek! It takes work, interest, and persistence, which isn’t always easy. Knock! In a time when doorbells are common, this is no longer done. But God wants us to use the ASK method and bring our hearts to him. So let’s don’t just whine, complain, desire, and want. Let’s ask our Father and look for what’s best for him.

Prayer

Dear Waiting Father, I apologize that you frequently only hear my groans, gripes, and worries. With your love, you have been so incredibly kind. As I ask you to minister to the things on my heart today, please help me to keep my focus firmly fixed on you and your will. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
