The most important thing about Jesus’s empty tomb is not just that he is alive, but also that he has risen from the dead. His win over death wasn’t temporary; it was permanent. Now, he lives to pray for us until he can come back and take us to his home. He hides our lives so that no one or nothing can take them away. When he comes back, we will be able to share in his glory that will never end. How could we not praise God for giving us so much?

Almighty God, I humbly and wholeheartedly thank you for your amazing and glorious grace that has brought eternal victory from mortal suffering. I appreciate you paying the price to make it possible. Beyond words, you are wonderful. More praise is due to you than all of your kids’ voices combined can express. As a result of his resurrection and reign as Lord, my hope will endure forever. You deserve every bit of respect, admiration, and majesty at all times. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
