We can live our lives in two ways. We can either live by faith or by what we see. We can rely on God’s constant presence and power, or we can use what we have. But wealth can change and go away, just like health, status, and reputation. Only one Source is always there for us, and we know we can count on him because he was there for so many people who came before us. “Never will I leave you!” is a promise that I will never forget.

Prayer

I appreciate you being there tomorrow before I get there, Holy Father, the Great I Am. Thank you for being there for me in the past when everyone else abandoned me. I appreciate your being there even though I didn’t realize it until I looked back and saw the results of your grace. Give me the strength to genuinely believe you when you say you’ll always be there, in particular. “Never” has become a very important word for me today thanks to your promise! I’m grateful. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
