For the LORD your God dried up the waters of Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were gone over:

God shows us how much he loves us because he loves. God shows us his love because he knows that without it, we would be lost. God shows us how much he loves us because he wants to show the rest of the world how powerful he is. God shows us how much he loves us because he wants us to know how strong his power to save is. God shows us how much he loves us so that we will respect, honor, and revere him.

Prayer

I thank you, Holy and Almighty God, for your majesty and power. I thank you for your grace and love. I laud you with a heart full of gratitude. I give you praise while bowing low in adoration because you are the only true and living God, and I want to honor and glorify you. For as long as I am on this earth, may honor, glory, and praise belong to you in my heart and in my life. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
