I guess the constant presence of God might be a little scary for people who end up in places they shouldn’t be. But it gives me a lot of comfort to know that God is always there for me, from the moment I was born until the day I die. He is there to help me and keep me going. Even when I’m somewhere I shouldn’t be or doing something I shouldn’t, he’s still there. I can apologize to him and receive his grace. When I need help, I can go to him and get his strength. I know I can turn to him and not be alone.

Prayer

Father, I appreciate your love and personal knowledge of me. I appreciate your assurance that there won’t be a day that I am without you. Thank you for the assurance that I will never have to face my sorrows on my own. I’m grateful to you for giving me the strength to keep going when I don’t have it in me. Thank you that no matter what occurs during the night, I will be with you when tomorrow morning arrives. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
