An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. — Proverbs 21:4

Today, everyone says, “We’re number one!” But the Bible says that the wicked are the ones who light their own way with their proud eyes and hearts. God, on the other hand, shows his people the way with his word (the Bible) and with his word (Jesus). The wicked, on the other hand, show themselves the way with their proud eyes and hearts. But God says that being arrogant, proud, “uppity,” or whatever you want to call it, is a sin. God is the most important thing, and everything else is important because of him. It’s really that easy.
