Jesus sets us free from the most important thing that was holding us back: our fear of God’s judgment. We are free from the law, which puts people in jail and leads to their deaths. The Spirit sets us free so that we can not only do what the Law wanted, but also be saved from the death penalty that the Law demanded. We are free to be God’s children through Jesus and the power of his Spirit… forever!

Prayer

Abba Father, I appreciate your saving grace. I am aware that you purchased it for me at a very high cost. Please pardon me for not allowing that deliverance to fill my heart with unwavering joy. So that I can experience the freedom and joy of your salvation not just at the end of my days but in the present moments, lead me by the power of your Spirit. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
