Complete power corrupts, because only God is able to control all power! Our desire for it is the thirst to be God, which is similar to the sin committed by Adam and Eve. True power, however, is utilized to help the weak, uplift the unfortunate, pardon the guilty, and support the helpless. It is power acceptable to The Complete Power.

Prayer

Almighty and incomparable God, I don’t want to use my time to put myself in a position where I can control others. Give me the grace, the capability, and the chance to benefit others, not so I can feel important or superior, but so they may be blessed and you can be thanked. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
