The purpose of our life on earth is not to worship in a church. Church worship and individual praise are significant, but they are not the main objectives. We are here to give God thanks through our words, our deeds, our emotions, and our hands. God wants us to hear his call to us in church and in our personal worship and respond, “With Satan’s traps all around us, “I am here. Use me!” He then wants us to go and utilize our “public worship” of service to change the world.

Prayer

I appreciate you, dear God, for providing me with the life experiences I have. You are both my pillar and my haven. I’m grateful for the abilities you bestowed upon me when you created me in my mother’s womb. Your Spirit created me and bestowed talents upon me when I became your child. Now, my Father, help me understand how and where to utilize these talents in your Kingdom and to bless people all over the globe so that I might assist in bringing people to you, assist in edifying the Body of Christ, and bless your people. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
