Ah! Doesn’t the “Golden Rule” make sense? We often make things much too convoluted and difficult to grasp, particularly when it comes to religion. I adore the Bible because God’s instructions for how we should live are often obvious and simple. Do you want to know how to treat others? Then do for them what you would have them do for you. Don’t do anything to them unless you believe it would bless, encourage, build up, support, comfort, or aid you. Do not do anything to them that would cause you pain, wound, depression, irritability, or discouragement. Treat others with the same courtesy, compassion, love, and sensitivity that you would want to be shown. Simple to grasp and revolutionary to execute!

Prayer
I’m grateful to the All-Powerful God for making certain things so simple to comprehend. Please pour your love into my heart as I strive to live by the “Golden Rule” in all of my interactions. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
