Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; — 1 Timothy 6:17

It is quite simple to attempt to base our security on money, don’t you think? However, if the foundation of our security rests in material riches or tangible objects, then global catastrophes, economic crises, embargoes, and natural calamities may destroy it. However, if we place our faith in God, we are able to share the abundance of his benefits with others around us and have the peace of mind that what is most important in our lives cannot be stolen from us.
