God said that the good people and the bad people would be separated. In his parables, Jesus told the same message over and over again. But these are not scary warnings for the people who follow God. These are instead words of promise. Those who have honored God and lived their lives for him wisely will shine brightly for everyone to see. Those who have shown others how to live righteously will shine like stars in their Father’s eyes.

Prayer

I appreciate your goodness and grace, loving God, for saving me. At the same time, Father, I am irritated when I watch the wicked flourish while your faithful workers are mocked and derided for their character. I’m grateful that you’ll evaluate us on the basis of your amazing grace! At the same time, I’m grateful that you will bring justice to people who adore you and are facing misery, danger, and ridicule as a result of their beliefs. Please be with them wherever they are and give them the strength to endure till that day arrives. I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
