Christians can’t hide and seek with the rest of the world. We were saved from the dark, so now we need to let our light shine. That means that sometimes other people see God’s light shining through us and learn to praise God through us. At other times, though, it means that our faith makes us stand out in a world of darkness and makes us easy targets. No matter what, you can’t hide. We are light in a world full of darkness, so we have to shine!

Prayer

Holy God, please give me strength so I can show your light to the lost world around me with the courage of Jesus and the love of God. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
