Where do you go to have your soul’s thirst quenched? I’m sure that many bad habits and sins come from the fact that we look for ways to quench our soul’s thirst other than by looking for God. He is the only one who can truly and permanently refresh, satisfy, and fulfill us. Let’s go after God, knowing that only he can give us what we really want.

Prayer

Thank you, God, that you care about how much my soul wants to drink. Thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to give me your Living Water to fill this deep longing in my soul. Help me see how every other source of satisfaction is a lie, so that I can find you to be the only one who can truly quench my thirst. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
