What is the best way to describe a friend? There are many definitions and examples in the Bible. One of my favorite stories is about the paralyzed man whose friends did everything they could to get him to Jesus. The man was forgiven and healed because of their faith and how hard they worked to get him to Jesus. I don’t know about you, but I’d like to be that kind of friend!

Prayer

Holy Father, please bless me as I try to bring (names of several friends who are not Christians) to Jesus for forgiveness and healing. Give me the persistence and tact to do this in a kind and respectful way, but don’t let me lose sight of how important it is for them to become Christians. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
