At certain times of the day, we get hungry. During the holiday season, we think about and do a lot of things related to food. But we have a deep hunger in our souls. You can’t satisfy this hunger with food, drink, or chemicals. Our Creator put this desire in us when he made us in our mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-16). Jesus is the only one who can fill this hunger.

Prayer

Please fill me with Jesus, my Father. Give me my daily bread so I can enjoy life to the fullest. Jesus, my brother and savior, please fill me and touch me with your presence so I can serve you by spreading your grace to those around me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
