Women have always played a vital role in God’s work. This was notably true at Philippi, Thessalonica, and Berea, all of which were in Macedonia in the first century. The Gospel touched the lives of many of the area’s most influential women in each of these locations. We know they were vital members of Lydia’s missionary activity, sharing the Gospel with others around them (Euodia and Syntyche). Why not spend a few minutes today thanking a godly lady in your church for her contributions to you and the Lord’s work?
