“I’m not sure if I can still love them. My supply of love is gone, and I can no longer love.” Yes, there are times when it seems like other people will use up all of our love, either because they have so many needs or because they won’t love us back. How do we go on? We need a loving group of people who believe in the same things as us and will support and love us. We need Christian brothers and sisters who will pray for God to make us more loving. We have to believe that God will answer all of our prayers by filling our hearts with more love through the Holy Spirit, his stream of grace that never stops flowing (cf. Rom. 5:5). Don’t pull away or give up when love is low. Get close to God and his people and ask for his grace to help you when you need it (Heb. 4:16).

Prayer

Dear Father, please fill my heart with your love and the hearts of my family and church family as well. We need your help to show more love to the people around us. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
