And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: — 1 John 5:14

Have faith before God. If you think about it, that’s kind of a contradiction. But because Jesus is at the right hand of the Father and the Holy Spirit prays for us, we can have confidence and come boldly before the Creator of the universe, knowing that he not only hears us but also cares about us. Whoa, what a crowd! Oh, and one more thing: he does what we ask of him.
