We’ve known the way of sin for thousands of years. Still, we sometimes keep going in the same direction. We’re drawn to something that looks good. We stop to look at it more closely and let ourselves get caught up in how desirable it is. We try it out and have fun with it. Then, we take part in the sin. Lastly, we drag other people into sin. You’d think we’d have figured out the pattern by now and stopped. So why don’t we try to do that with the help of the Holy Spirit?

Prayer

Father, please forgive me for having a heart that is stubborn and full of sin. I want to give you my whole life. I don’t want to be drawn in by sin or tempted by worldly passions, but I do want to live a godly life with passion for your glory. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
