Sometimes I feel like I have so much on my own plate that I can’t even see what other people are going through. But Jesus tells me that if I want to be like him, I have to carry other people’s burdens. He became one of us to take away the hardest things we had to carry. The Lord died so that we wouldn’t have to carry the weight of sin, death, and hell. Jesus has given us a blessing by taking on our biggest problems so that we can help those around us.

Prayer

Father of compassion, help me to recognize the struggles that people around me are facing and to offer support in return. Please guide me in finding my place and my means of serving to your glory because I want to be a blessing to the hurting and discouraged. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
