Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. — 1 John 4:11

We are loved by the One who made everything. He knows all of us by name. Our Heavenly Father really cares about us. God knew how weak and sinful we were, but he was still willing to pay a terrible price to save us. Even though we are sometimes weak or stubborn, he loves us, forgives us, and welcomes us back when we are ready to admit our sins and come home to him. So, if God has always, always, always, and always loved us, how can we not love each other?

Prayer

Abba Father, thank you for your great and kind love. Please keep filling my heart with love through your Holy Spirit. Please help me love your children more by being more forgiving, patient, and willing to give up things for them. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
