Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. — Jeremiah 17:7

Trust. Can we believe God? Is God really trustworthy? Even though we might wish we were alive when Jesus walked the earth or when Jeremiah spoke God’s hard truth without fear, we are very lucky to be alive today. We are at the end of an amazing chain of things that God has done. If we look at history, we can see that he was very loyal to his people. We can go boldly into the future because we know that God is already there.

Prayer

Holy God, I can feel you there! I know I’m not alone in the morning, in the evening, or during the long nights. Thank you for knowing me and always being there for me. Please show yourself to me today as I try to do and say things that honor you. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
