Don’t you already have a lot to do today? When you worry about the problems of tomorrow, don’t you find it hard to focus on what’s important and urgent right now? Don’t you sometimes miss a chance today because you’re thinking about all the things that could happen in the future? Don’t you think it’s a waste of time to worry about things you can’t change? So why worry so much about tomorrow, next week, and…? Let’s walk with God today and have faith that he will be there for us tomorrow.

Prayer

Holy God, help me to muster the courage to seize the day and live a life that will bring you and others blessings. Help me to act with courage, kindness, and salvation today rather than worrying so much about what might occur tomorrow or next week. Give me the exact moment I see in the ministry of your son while he was on earth. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
