Oh, how we wish this were the case. Although we aren’t yet gold, we aspire to be. Although we’re making progress, we’re not quite following in his footsteps yet. Though we’ve tried not to stray, it happens occasionally. Praise God for his grace while we wait for our discipleship goals and plans to be realized.

Magnificent Universe-Creator and Sustainer, I humbly confess my transgression and lack of ability to follow your paths. As I pledge to serve you with holiness and joy, please pardon me. I’m grateful for your grace, which covers my sin and completes in me Jesus’s character. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
