Natural disasters, getting old, and death can take away so many things from our lives. Satan could be called “The Thief of Always,” which is a good name for him. But God can’t be moved or stolen! We can trust him and know that he will take care of our spirits. He is a stronghold and a safe place.

Prayer

O Great Rock of my Salvation, I appreciate your constancy and faithfulness. In this day of chaos and change, we are grateful that you are the source of our security and our hope. I appreciate you being God. You are my God, and I put my life, my hopes, and my future in your hands. May today bring you glory through me. In Jesus’s precious name I pray. Amen.
