But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: — 1 Corinthians 1:30

We have a saving relationship with Jesus because of God’s grace. Jesus is our Lord and Savior. As Christians, we know that Jesus’ death on the cross was more than just a terrible injustice and the killing of a good man. Jesus is God’s wisdom, and it is his wisdom that shows us how much he loves us. Jesus is our righteousness. He made us righteous by taking our sins on himself. Jesus is the one who keeps us holy. His blood washed us clean from the start, and it still does so today. Jesus is what makes us holy, and his death makes us righteous. Jesus is the price we had to pay to be saved from sin and death. Jesus is the only thing we need.

Both God and Abba God, thank you for being holy and doing what is right. Thank you for being kind enough to forgive me. Make my heart like the heart of your Son. Make a better tool for your Kingdom work out of me. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
