Before he became a Christian, Paul had done a lot of good things in his spiritual life. He was known for how much he loved God and the Bible. But he didn’t think much of what he had done in the past compared to knowing Christ and getting God’s grace. What he found in Jesus was salvation, not just from sin and death, but also to a life full of grace and power.

Prayer

Thank you, Almighty and Faithful Father, for your grace, which saved me from legalism, pride, arrogance, sin, and hopelessness. Thank you for making me perfect through Jesus. Please use me to help other people learn more about your grace. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
