But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, — Galatians 4:4

God sent Jesus Christ. Only he would do this. He sent prophets, priests, and preachers. Religion stayed stuck on earth, focused on rules, and doomed. So, God sent the most important thing to him: his Son. Why? So simple people like you and me could be adopted into his family and have the same rights as the Savior, God’s Son, and our brother in the faith!

Prayer

Thank you, Holy God, that your Son brought me back into your family. Thank you for not treating me badly because of my mistakes. Thank you for not leaving me under the Law, but for saving me through your grace and making me your child so we can have a loving relationship. Thank you for your plan of salvation, which was woven into the history of the Old Testament until the time came to make good on all your promises. Please thank your Son for coming. In Jesus’ precious name I pray. Amen.
