For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: — Romans 12:4

Belonging is one of the most important parts of Christianity. I belong! God is my owner. I am a part of Jesus. I am a part of the Church, which is Jesus’ body. I belong there and have a job to do. I belong! People need me! I have a job to do! I belong!!

Prayer

Help me, Father, find the place in Jesus’ body, the church, where you made me to fit. I promise to work in many different ministries until I know exactly where to serve and use my gifts, so that your Spirit, not just my own preferences, will lead me to the place you want me to serve. Thank you for giving me a place where I can not only feel like I belong, but also serve and be Jesus’ body in the world. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
